Hutt City Council
At Hutt City Council our vision is to build a connected, resilient and inclusive city where all of our people thrive.
Kia noho mai tēnei tãone hei pou herenga waka, hei pou herenga kaupapa, hei wāhi whai hua ki hona iwi.
From our earliest days adapting to our geography and setting up NZ's first Kohanga Reo, to setting global time standards and community-led housing partnerships homing those in need. In everything we do, we're led by our values of Manaakitanga, Kotahitanga and Rangatiratanga and our partnership with Mana Whenua.
Hataitai Community House
The Hataitai Centre and Hataitai Community House are community-run spaces for everyone to use and enjoy. You can hire spaces for you own event, check out some of the amazing classes or events run by our committee! The facilities serve as a hub for residents to connect, learn, and participate in diverse programs.
Greater Wellington Neighbourhood Support Trust
The Greater Wellington Neighbourhood Support Trust was set up to deliver Neighbourhood Support all over the region. Through contracts with Kapiti Coast District Council, Hutt City Council and through various other wonderful funders we have coordinators in Kapiti, South Wairarapa, Lower Hutt, Wellington and Porirua. We also have a dedicated Youth coordinator on the Kapiti Coast.
FreeForAll Charitable Trust
FreeForAll partners with local community groups, schools, businesses, op shops and the community itself to save household items from landfill and redistribute them to the community.
Everybody Eats
Everybody Eats is an innovative, charitable restaurant, transforming rescued food into quality 3-course meals, for everyone to enjoy on a pay-what-you-can basis. Be part of reducing food waste, food insecurity and social isolation in Aotearoa New Zealand by joining us for a night to remember.
