Mentor former refugees in Lower Hutt to develop driving skills and gain their licence. Flexible hours, must be 21+ with full licence.
Visit residents with intellectual disabilities at Clouston Park in Porirua, sharing conversation, activities, and friendly company. Flexible hours.
Create age-appropriate artworks based on whānau traditions for the Toi Whakapapa programme. Māori artist preferred, Wednesdays plus independent work.
Mentor a community leader in the Newlands area over a structured 6-month programme with regular check-ins. ~20 hours total.
Join the LIFE Trust Board as a Trustee, contributing governance and strategic oversight. Background in education or tikanga Māori preferred.
Support adult English learners from refugee and migrant backgrounds in a Lower Hutt classroom. Tue/Wed/Thu mornings.
Support adult English learners in a Wellington classroom, including Saturday driving licence English classes. Various sessions available.
Facilitate trauma-informed art therapy sessions within the Toi Whakapapa programme for Work and Income clients. Qualified art therapist required.
