Help set up and run the Orange Sky laundry and shower van in Wellington, providing clean clothes and warm conversation to those in need.
Join the Orange Sky team at Strathmore Park on Wednesday evenings, providing free laundry, showers, and warm conversation. 5:30–7:30 pm.
Answer calls on the Parent Help helpline, providing empathetic support and information to parents and caregivers. Rostered shifts, 9 am – 9 pm.
Join the Petone Community House Board, meeting 6–12 times per year. Diverse backgrounds and skills welcomed.
Listen to clients, research their rights, and explain options at CAB Porirua. One 3-hour shift weekly. Full induction and monthly training.
Repair and paint donated bikes at the Green Bikes workshop in Porirua, making them roadworthy. Fridays, 10 am – 3 pm.
Patrol Porirua streets monthly for 3–4 hours, reporting suspicious activities and building positive community safety presence.

Day Patrol Lead
Establish and manage daytime community safety patrols in Porirua, recruiting patrollers, creating rosters, and liaising with police. 5–10 hrs/week.
Manage and grow social media for Porirua Pasifika Community Patrols, creating engaging content and attracting new volunteers.
Organise monthly Komiti meetings, take minutes, manage correspondence, and participate in patrols for Porirua Pasifika Community Patrols.
