Mentor a community leader in the Newlands area over a structured 6-month programme with regular check-ins. ~20 hours total.
Answer phones, greet clients, and connect people with urgent support at Newtown Budgeting & Advocacy Service. 4-hour weekday shifts.

Tag and Tester
Inspect the Newtown Community Centre Tool Library’s electrical equipment quarterly to ensure safety standards. ~2–4 hours every 3 months.
Lead a kitchen team to prepare soups, garlic bread, and salads for Free Soup Friday at Newtown Community Centre. Fridays from 9 am.
Join a small team to help a former refugee family settle in Wellington with practical support. 1–4 hours weekly, training provided.
