Confidential, non‑judgemental & non‑religious support. Samaritans operates a 24/7 crisis help line. Our phones are operated by volunteers from the community for the community. Our volunteer Samaritans come from all walks of life. They are chosen for their personal qualities of empathy and commitment to helping people. Volunteers are trained in active listening to provide callers with the sort of support they need.
