Join the mobile support team on Courtenay Place on Friday/Saturday nights, providing water, phone charging, and a safe space. 9:30 pm – 4:30 am.
Collect and return members living with dementia to the Marsden Club in Karori daily, with optional afternoon outings. Petrol voucher provided.
Work in the Vinnies shop in Lower Hutt, sorting and pricing donated goods, and providing warm customer service. No retail experience needed.
Drive residents of St John of God Karori to activities and appointments using a supplied vehicle. Full licence and police check required.
Accompany the driver when transporting Karori residents to activities and appointments, providing physical assistance and reassurance.
Assess donated curtains at the Sustainability Trust warehouse, measuring and recording details in the database for distribution. Flexible shifts.
Remove old curtain tracks and fit new ones in homes receiving donated curtains from the Wellington Curtain Bank. Own transport, flexible hours.
Answer phones, greet clients, and connect people with urgent support at Newtown Budgeting & Advocacy Service. 4-hour weekday shifts.
Provide general handyman and maintenance support at Thumbs Up facilities in Porirua. Flexible hours, as-needed tasks.
