At Land Information Trust, our mission is to educate New Zealand youth about the important of Maori land succession rights through interactive and immersive visual arts, with the new history curriculum.
Volunteer with us
Recruit and mentor kaiako to lead kapa haka sessions for the LIFE Trust's Toi Whakapapa programme in Wellington.
Manage financial operations and funding workflows for LIFE Trust's Toi Whakapapa programme, supporting its sustainable growth.
Act as the operational lead for LIFE Trust's Toi Whakapapa programme, keeping projects on track and supporting the Kaumātua across all work streams.
Create age-appropriate artworks based on whānau traditions for the Toi Whakapapa programme. Māori artist preferred, Wednesdays plus independent work.
Record voiceover and singing content for 2D animated Toi Whakapapa educational videos. Wednesdays plus independent recording time.
Record voiceover narration for 2D animated Toi Whakapapa educational videos. Wednesdays 11 am – 1 pm plus independent recording time.
Write grant applications for the LIFE Trust’s Toi Whakapapa programme for rangatahi. Wednesdays 11 am – 1 pm plus independent work.
Join the LIFE Trust Board as a Trustee, contributing governance and strategic oversight. Background in education or tikanga Māori preferred.
Seek sponsorship and grants for the LIFE Trust Art Bus Initiative, networking with investors and stakeholders. ~4 hours per week.
Facilitate online Toi Whakapapa sessions, guiding participants to explore and share their whakapapa stories.
